Chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) one the important Rabi season legume crops ranked third after common bean and field pea. For better yield improvement in chickpea, trait variability, genetic relationship diversity need to be known for possible improvement. Basing on this, present investigation was carried out know effect of various traits yield. The experimental material comprised four elite chickpea genotypes grown alpha lattice design with three replications during 2020-21. data five quantitative were analyzed correlation, path coefficient principle component analysis different lines chickpea. study has led understanding interrelation direct indirect This may help finding that a focus in-order improve crop. provide guidelines selection development high yielding varieties.
